Tax advantage with the Work-related costs scheme (WKR)
Did you know this trip can be tax-deductible?
With the right setup, this trip can qualify as a targeted exemption under the Dutch Work-related costs scheme (Werkkostenregeling) — fully deductible as training costs. We help you with this: we provide the correct invoice structure, a template for learning objectives, and advise you on the options. Ask your accountant for the details or get in touch with us.
FAQ
Do I need to be sporty to participate?
No! The programme is tailored to the level of the group. There are both challenging activities and more relaxed options. Something for everyone.
What if it rains?
We always have a plan B. Some activities like canyoning and rafting are actually more fun in the rain. Otherwise we switch to indoor activities like a cooking workshop or wine tasting.
What about dietary requirements and allergies?
No problem. We ask for all dietary requirements in advance and tailor all meals accordingly. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free — everything is possible.
Can I cancel?
You can cancel free of charge up to 8 weeks before departure. Between 4-8 weeks you pay 50%. Within 4 weeks the full amount is due. We always recommend cancellation insurance.
How do I get there?
Fly to Milan Malpensa (50 min drive) or Turin (1.5 hours). From September 2026, there is also a night train from the Netherlands to Milan — ideal if you prefer not to fly. We arrange transfers to and from the airport or station — included in the price.
Is it tax-deductible under the WKR?
Yes! Our trips qualify under the Dutch Work-related costs scheme (WKR). We provide an invoice with all required specifications so your employer can process the trip for tax purposes.
What is the maximum group size?
Up to 12 people at one location. This keeps things small-scale and personal. The house has 3 floors, each with their own living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Have a larger group? Get in touch — we're happy to explore the options with you.
